30 Jun-2 Jul 2025 Paris (France)

Presentation

Following on from the success of recent events devoted to quantum and/or frustrated magnetism, both nationally and internationally, we wish to initiate a federative approach on a national scale. The French community in this field has sufficient critical mass to enable the development of such a dynamic, structured network.

A kick-off meeting will be held in central Paris at the Institut Poincaré over four half-days in 2025, from June 30 at 2 pm to July 2 at 12:30 pm. The event will feature a selection of invited presentations highlighting major advances and issues in the field, as well as time for free discussion, encouraging conviviality, exchange and collective reflection.

The main aim of this first meeting is to lay the foundations for a French thematic network, dedicated to the various aspects of quantum and/or frustrated magnetism, which will only bring together some fifty active researchers in France for its launch.
